I wake up at 6 AM, send my kid to preschool, and leave the house by 7:30. That’s my routine.

Cleanse, apply cream, and sunscreen. 10 seconds total.

Toner, serum, eye cream… I haven’t had time for that once in the past 3 years. (Honestly, even on weekends it feels like too much work)

So from March 2025, I tried 5 different all-in-one creams in rotation. Even at similar price points, the texture, absorption speed, stickiness, and moisture retention were dramatically different.

I’m going to share my honest thoughts in the order I tried them.

1. Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Cream — Soothing + Moisturizing

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Cream is a cica-centered soothing all-in-one.

The texture is somewhere between gel and cream. It has a pump dispenser, so I just pump twice with one hand, spread it on my face, and I’m done.

Absorption takes about 20 seconds. I could apply sunscreen immediately without pilling.

What I loved:

• Cica and centella ingredients = no irritation even on red, inflamed skin
• Pump packaging is hygienic and easy to control amount
• Almost no stickiness, can apply makeup immediately
• Around $20 for 70ml — lasts a solid 2 months

Being honest:

• In winter offices with strong heating, felt slightly tight around 3 PM
• Perfect for summer, but in winter might need to mix with another lotion
• Fragrance-free is great, but if you dislike unscented products, might feel bland

Price range: Around $20 (70ml)
Recommended for: Sensitive skin, working moms with frequent breakouts, those seeking a fresh all-in-one for summer

2. Laneige Cream Skin Refiner — Toner + Cream in One

Technically this is a toner, but the texture is so rich like a balm that you can use it as an all-in-one.

Laneige Cream Skin Refiner — right after cleansing, pour 2-3 times into your palm (no cotton pad needed), pat onto face, and you’re done.

Absorption is under 10 seconds. Seriously fast.

But the moisturizing power was better than expected — in summer, this alone kept me hydrated all morning. (In winter I added another cream layer though)

What I loved:

• Best absorption speed — makeup-ready in 5 seconds
• Zero stickiness. Phone screen stays clean
• No tightness even in air-conditioned offices in summer
• Great value for the volume (250ml)

Being honest:

• Not enough in winter alone — need to add a cream layer
• Wide jar bottle inconvenient for travel (not a pump type)
• Has a slight fragrance. If you prefer unscented, you might have mixed feelings

Price range: Around $30 (250ml)
Recommended for: Those wanting fresh moisture in summer, sticky-texture haters, working moms prioritizing fast absorption

3. Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb — Winter Moisture Champion

Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb has a rich balm texture.

Scoop an appropriate amount, warm it in your palms, then spread on face — absorption takes about 40 seconds.

Slower than other products, but the moisturizing power was overwhelming.

Even in an unheated winter office, my skin stayed hydrated until 4 PM. (Personally, my #1 winter all-in-one)

What I loved:

• Best winter moisture retention — stays dewy all day
• Subtle napiers herb scent feels nice
• Balm type means a little goes a long way for full face
• Around $40 for 50ml — lasts 3 months using mornings only

Being honest:

• Slow absorption can feel frustrating on busy mornings
• Jar packaging requires hygiene care (wash hands first)
• Too heavy for summer/spring. October-March only
• Oily skin types might feel stickiness
